THE APPLIED INNOVATION CENTER (AIC)
The Applied Innovation Center (AIC) is a dedicated prototyping, collaboration, and evaluation facility located in Huntsville Alabama focused on accelerating innovation and technology adoption within the Department of Defense (DoD).
The primary mission of the AIC is to identify, develop, and integrate cutting-edge technologies and solutions which enhance DoD operational capabilities. By providing this platform the AIC facilitates collaboration between U.S. Government representatives and commercial technology developers aiming to accelerate the integration of innovative solutions into the DoD modernization ecosystem and ultimately into the hands of the warfighter.
This collaborative approach allows DoD material developers to tap into a broad innovation ecosystem and leverage the expertise and resources available from a wide variety of stakeholders with unparalleled flexibility and speed.
